Great quality jacket

"I was looking for something to keep out the cold and wet and this seems to fit the bill very nicely. It is lighter than other reviews suggested and I only returned it as I am 5'4 and the general fit is for someone a bit bigger even though I took a small. The sleeves have adjusters which work well."

"I am not a coat/jacket wearer. I overheat quite eaaily and hate bulky, restrictive clothing. However. I have started hiking for charity and needed a decent jacket to protect me from the unpredictable UK weather. This jacket is perfect. I love the soft shell feel, its not too thick and bulky so it packs small enough for my day sack and is a very good fit so is comfortable to wear. Did a fantastic job keeping me dry in Scotland last weekend! Would definitely recommend!"

Great Jacket

"Excellent jacket, so useful in our Scottish climate! Have subsequently ordered one for my husband too. Windproof, waterproof, lightweight and super comfortable, so glad I bought it. I’m a curvy size 12 and it’s often difficult to get a jacket that fits comfortably over your hips but isn’t then overly roomy and boxy at the shoulders, this is perfect, and the sleeves are a good length too so no draughty gaps at the wrists. I got a M. Generous enough to fit a decent mid layer/jumper underneath but not baggy without one. Customer service from the team at Highlander also superb 👌"

Mind-blowing - get one

"I am mind-blown by this mighty jacket, hand on heart. I didn't not expect such quality at that price point. I used it this past weekend, fresh out of the box, and it protected me nicely during the cool evenings (I just wore a shirt and a fleece underneath). I love how it feels on the skin. But more importantly, I also had to lend it to a friend who had no waterproof and was helping me pitch the tarp during an insane downpour. He was bone-dry. I thought the jacket was just weatherproof. Well, it handled heavy rain like a champ. I highly recommend it."

My first time in buying

"My first time in buying a product from Highlander. I really liked the look and soft feel of the jacket. I bought it initially after seeing it at a discounted price and decided to give it a try. I really like the colour and fit of the jacket. I've only worn it a couple of times so far and happy with it although not sure how it stands up for to light showers. My only reason for not giving it five stars is because the hood doesn't have an option to stow in some way, which some other makes of hooded jackets don't either. But I think this is always a preference of mine and on the whole I'm pleased with it and for how smart it looks."

Good, very good but. . .

"I really like this jacket. It's well made, comfortable and functional and looks good. My one criticism, and it's the same issue I have with the Halo smock that I have is that the arm length is slightly too short. Both jackets are made for active wear however, as soon as your arms are raised the arm length becomes restrictive. It might not be as big of an issue when you're walking or hiking but as soon as you scramble or climb, the sleeve length is a nuisance. Given the price it seems churlish to complain because it is great value but an extra 2cm on the sleeve would have made this a great jacket."

"A light, soft, flexible and windproof jacket. Not clammy, like a hard shell. Easy to wear and looks smart enough to wear to the pub. Slim fit. Not tested in damp weather yet. No chest pocket for phone."
