come a long way since I was in my teens and, as the title of this review suggests, I can't fill it the rucksack. My order included a Highlander Blackburn 1-man tent which easily vanishes into the cavernous interior. The access zips and multitude of straps, loops and attachment points mean it's a breeze to either load gear in or attach it somewhere.
I've tried it on a few times and it's very comfortable with varying loadouts. I'd have no problem recommending it and it's always nice to find and support a Scottish company. Read LessRead less about I had a bit of a health scare

with plenty of space spare for a multi day trip each time.
I've included some photos showing just how much I put into the pack, and how the pack looked afterwards. Also a number of videos showing it being packed so people can see it all actually going in. There was still significant room left for other items should I have wished to have added more. I didn't even need to use the gap the very useful floating top offers, which allows quite a lot of room to add further items. Also, there's plenty of straps I could have used to attach more, so this pack offers huge amounts of storage. I'm pretty sure users of it won't run out of space easily.
The material is good quality and tough as well as able to cope with light rain without needing to use the included rain cover. I found the rain cover itself easily kept out heavy rain when it was put on, which I was pleased about.
I especially liked the two zipped pockets on each side. In my case, I found this handy for my large collapsible water storage on one side and my thermal bottle on the other. I could clip my own smaller water bag onto the front of the pack anyway should I want easy access to fluids.
The easy open zip accessing the main compartment was useful too and means less messing about to get at items inside as opposed to only using the drawstring opening at the top.
Another feature I liked was the very deep internal pocket inside right at the back. I've not seen one this deep and useful before in other packs I've used. Great for keeping long flat items securely in such as camping table, tarps, documents, maps etc. Or for a water bladder if that's your preference. Size of this pocket is around 30cm/12in wide by about 46cm/18in deep.
The pack when packed properly and the straps adjusted appropriately is very comfortable to wear, and I found it was OK carrying quite a significant weight around on various terrains, some of them very challenging. Good and balanced with decent weight distribution. The hip belt pockets are larger than ones I've used before, and I'm still getting used to them as they're unexpectedly useful! Good places to put hand sanitiser, water filter, compass, pen, multitool, jotter pad and so on for fast and easy use.
This pack surprised me for the good value it offers for the price. In terms of design the only thing I can think of which would make a great pack even better would perhaps to have a restraining strap attached to the top middle of the back up to the floating top, since if the pack is not full that part can slip down from the top a bit. However, this is a minor quibble. I don't think it's a problem if people carry something in that gap such as a roll mat, added food or an extra bag of clothes for example, which admittedly I don't usually tend to do unless I'm on a longer trip. Even though I put a lot of gear in it, it can be seen from the images and videos that I have not filled up the pack to full capacity, so for those who wish to carry more, there's definitely no worries about lacking any space. If like me you plan to go on longer treks now and then and want the extra space when that time comes, this is a very sound choice.
Overall then, following my use over a period of time now, I can say it's a fantastic pack for the money, durable, extremely roomy, well laid out, with some nice features, copes with all weathers and comfortable to wear. Very highly recommended and I'm very glad I got it. Read LessRead less about I bought this pack around a couple of

ovided ample space and adjustability, ensuring a comfortable fit throughout my trek. The bag sits well on the shoulders, with additional straps that offer extra support when hiking with a full load. I was able to pack eight days’ worth of food, supplies, and a full sleep setup, with room to spare. The numerous pockets and external attachment points made organization effortless.
One of the standout features is the rigid internal frame, which significantly improves comfort and support, especially when carrying a heavy load. Additionally, the bag offers multiple access points, eliminating the need to unpack everything to reach items at the bottom. The included rain cover is a thoughtful addition and appears to be more secure than those of competing brands. The external fabric is highly durable, surviving the rugged conditions of Patagonia with barely a scratch.
Overall, this is a highly functional, aesthetically pleasing, and comfortable bag that I wholeheartedly recommend. The customer support team was also excellent—special thanks to Anders for assisting me with an issue promptly. Five stars all around! Read LessRead less about I purchased this bag in preparation
