Hexamine Solid Fuel Tablets are a really simple fuel source for use with a hexi / sold fuel cooker (SF003). The pack contains 8 ultra-lightweight hexamine solid fuel tablets that you simply place on the unfolded stove, light the fuel tablet and start cooking. The tablets burn smokeless, have a high energy density, do not liquefy while burning and leave no ashes which makes them a quick and effective fuel for cooking whilst out camping or making a well earned coffee whilst out trekking.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. The product comprises of 8 hexamine solid fuel tablets.
2. To use product - open cooker (sold separately) and remove contents, check for dirt etc. and place upright (with pan support spikes up) on stable surface that will not be damaged by heat, such as flat rock or gravel. Place 1-2 tablets in position shown in Fig.1 on cooker tablet platform, (area with air holes). Adjust pan support to fit pan before lighting.
3. Before lighting ensure cooker is away from other combustible items and in a sheltered place.
4. Carefully ignite tablet(s) with a match or lighter, cooker is now ready for use. Ensure Children and animals are kept away from cooker while in use and until cooker is cool after use.
5. Tablets burn for approximately 8 minutes, this varies depending on weather conditions, specifically wind. To improve cooking time and fuel consumption, improvise a windshield from rocks, tin foil etc. but nothing combustible.
6. After tablet has expired, do not move cooker until completely cool, as the metal base will be extremely hot and will burn. Once cooker has cooled, remove any ashes or dirt and fold up cooker.
How many tablets to use?In good conditions: 1 tablet will bring 0.5 litre of water to the boil. (approx.) 2 tablet will bring 1 litre of water to the boil. (approx.)
You may have to use additional tablets if you are cooking more than 1 litre, or it is very windy. If approx. 1 litre of food is not cooked after 2 tablets expire, remove pan and carefully place another tablet onto platform lighting as before until food is cooked thoroughly. Ensure hands are thoroughly washed with soap or similar product after handling tablets and before handling food, cooking or eating.
